Our client is West Ridge Sand and Gravel, an industry-leading supplier of construction equipment, sand and gravel operation based out of Hinton, AB. They are offering an excellent opportunity for someone who loves to work independently in a shop while located in a beautiful and accessible town. With the support of an apprentice and general labourer, the successful candidate will work on a fleet of 70 pieces of equipment including construction equipment, aggregate processing equipment, and trucks and trailers. Hinton, AB is located about approximately 2.5 hours drive west of Edmonton, and 1 hour North from Jasper. Located on the Yellowhead Highway, it is easily accessible. With a population of 10, 000, Hinton boasts all the amenities of an urban centre, but without the high cost of living. Situated next door to the Rockies, outdoor activities are endless, from hiking to skiing to fishing in the nearby Athabasca River. There are also many community events, including the Fohn Festival, Wild Mountain Music Festival, and the Beaver Bike Fest, making it a great place to raise a family.
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience. Relocation assistance provided for the right candidate.

Shifts: Mon to Fri, 8 am- 5pm, OT available. Some occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
Education: Journeyman or Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment ticket is required.
Experience:
A wide range of heavy duty, and truck and trailer experience is required.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work independently.
A high regard for safety is also essential.
Valid driver's license is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspect, maintain, service, diagnose, and repair fleet of construction equipment, aggregate processing equipment, trucks and trailers, and more.
Supervise up to 2 additional shop staff.
Schedule work and complete repair paperwork.
